What better way to spend Australia Day than taking a day tripwith your family for a relaxing public holiday. With our packed lunches and a full tank to go, the Ziyarah tours family headed out north to coastal Jurien Bay. The trip from Perth takes a leisurely 2 hour drive and also passes by other popular tourist locations such as Cervantes and Pinnacles. Jurien Bay is famous for its tranquil coral coast and is known for its fishing spots and great beaches.
We stopped a couple of times along the stretch of the coast to explore and enjoy the view of the sea. There are many perfect beachside spots to choose and unwind showing why this place is a popular holiday destination. After trekking through sandy roads, we finally arrived at one of the shores of Jurien Bay that we’d taken fancy and settled there.
The beautiful scenery of the blue skies, white sand and clear ocean made for a very peaceful and calm view. We parked right on the sandy beach and set up our tent for shade. As the weather was hot since January is in the peak of summer, jumping into the cold sea was very refreshing and fun. The beach spot we chose was quite secluded therefore it felt like we were swimming at our own private beach! Once we had a good swim, the Ziyarah tours family unpacked our Nasi Lemak lunches before going to perform our afternoon prayers afterwards. On the way back home we swung by a couple more beach and jetty outlooks to take pictures with the sunset. We ended the day trip with a chanceful encounter of a wild Kangaroo, which wrapped up our journey quite excitingly!
